Florida Election Integrity

Florida election integrity laws were enacted in 2021 and 2022. It requires verification of identity in order to obtain a mail-in or absentee ballots: driver's license number or last four digits of the social security number, and a signature (on written applications).^[1]

Florida prohibits return of mail-in ballots at the polling booth on election day, which 13 states (including Arizona) allows.

Florida limits how many ballots an authorized person may return.

Two weeks prior to the 2022 midterm elections, a total of 1,292,689 persons had voted by mail in Florida.^[2]

Drop-boxes are manned, and voter ID is required to cast ballots in-person.
