Kirriemuir

Kirriemuir is a market town and administrative centre in Angus, eastern Scotland. It was founded in the fifteenth century as a baronial burgh. Its industry was formerly based on the manufacture of jute sacking. J.M.Barrie, author of Peter Pan, was born in Kirriemuir and described it as a "wee reid tounie".
