Untawa is a small village of 0 hectares in Sirauli Gauspur Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Untawa depends on Dariyabad (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Untawa's pin code is 225207[4], and village code is 05799900. The area of Untawa is segregated as 130.3 hectares irrigated area, 7.2 hectares unirrigated area. the 4.207 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 2.18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Untawa has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Untawa is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1062 and has total administration over 180 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 68 (6.40%) males constitute 40 (3.77%) of the population and females 28 (2.64%).

According to a census 2011 report, 406 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 279 male, 127 female with 287 (70.69%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 177 males and 110 females. 145 males and 89 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 23 male and 12 female agricultural labor. 119 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dariyabad (NP) and Barabanki to sell jaggery and make their living.
