Chutes And Ladders

From Conservapedia

Chutes and Ladders is a board game produced by Milton Bradley, based on the game "Snakes and Ladders" from India.

The Milton Bradley version is comprised of 100 squares numbered accordingly, players move alternately from left to right then from right to left, from 1 (bottom left) to 100 (top left), rolling a single die numbered 1 to 6. The first player to reach square 100 on an exact roll is the winner.

Movement is helped by a series of 19 ladders (upward movement) and hindered by a series of 19 chutes (downward movement). A player landing on the bottom square of a ladder moves up to the top of the ladder; a player landing on the top square of a chute moves down to the bottom of the chute. (A player landing on the top of a ladder or the bottom of a chute does not move further.) The Milton Bradley version uses the ladders/chutes squares to teach morality, and the rewards of good behavior (moving up the ladder)[1] or the consequences of bad behavior (moving down the chute)[2].
