Mailhan is a small village of 203 hectares in Phulpur Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mailhan depends on Phulpur (Np), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Mailhan's pin code is 212402[4], and village code is 05444600. The area of Mailhan is segregated as 45 hectares irrigated area, 150 hectares unirrigated area. the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 4 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mailhan has One post office (Mailahan B.O) and Five public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Mailhan has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Mailhan is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2941 and has total administration over 439 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 759 (25.81%) males constitute 389 (13.23%) of the population and females 370 (12.58%).

The workforce is 718 male, 456 female with 959 (81.69%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 638 males and 321 females. 186 males and 98 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 50 male and 127 female agricultural labor. 215 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phulpur (Np) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
