Bhitar is a small village of 174 hectares in Karchhana Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhitar depends on BHIRPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Bhitar's pin code is 212301[4], and village code is 05545600. The area of Bhitar is segregated as 3 hectares irrigated area.
Bhitar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Bhitar is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 739 and has total administration over 111 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHIRPUR and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
