Kodara is a small village of 62.86 hectares in Sagri Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kodara depends on Azamgarh (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Kodara's pin code is 276124[4], and village code is 08627200. The area of Kodara is segregated as 47.834 hectares irrigated area, 1.678 hectares unirrigated area. the 7.004 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 6.349 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kodara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kodara is a census village in the district of Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 994 and has total administration over 140 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Azamgarh (MB) and Azamgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
