Adrian D. Johnson is a judge on the Lowndes County District Court in Alabama. He was appointed by Governor Bob Riley in December 2010 and his current term expires in 2018.[1]

Career[edit]

Prior to his appointment, Johnson was an attorney in Montgomery.[1]

2012 election[edit]

Because no candidate won 50 percent of the vote in the Democratic primary on March 13, the election went to a runoff. On April 24, Johnson defeated Debra Bush, winning 56.3 percent of the vote. He was elected to the court after running unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4]
