The term Hexateuch means "six scrolls". The term refers to the first six books of the Hebrew Torah and the Christian Bible, namely Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy and Joshua.[1]

The Hexateuch covers the early Biblical history, from the Creation, to the conquest of the Promised Land.
