Kheechan is a small village of 4447 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kheechan depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kheechan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Kheechan's pin code is 342308[4], and village code is 01919700. The area of Kheechan is segregated as 532 hectares irrigated area, 3358 hectares unirrigated, the 105 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 412 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Kheechan has One post office (Khichan S.O) and Forty Five public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Kheechan has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kheechan is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 7025 and has total administration over 1190 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Kheechan has 1292 children, 713 boys and 579 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 2588 (36.84%) males constitute 1365 (19.43%) of the population and females 1223 (17.41%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 163 (2.32%) males constitute 92 (1.31%) of the population and females 71 (1.01%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1926 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1665 male, 261 female with 1759 (91.33%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1621 males and 138 females. 433 males and 63 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 468 male and 16 female agricultural labor. 167 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phalodi and Jodhpur to sell blanket and make their living.
