Kheechan is a small village of 4447 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kheechan depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kheechan is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phalodi and Jodhpur to sell blanket and make their living.
