Philadelphia Crime And Poverty

From Conservapedia

Philadelphia crime and poverty are the worst among cities having population above 1 million residents. Violent crime in particular is worse in Philadelphia compared with other large cities.

This became an issue in the senate campaign between Republican Mehmet Oz and pro-cannabis Dem John Fetterman.

Ballot harvesting by Democrats makes political reform in Philadelphia nearly impossible.

Poverty in Philadelphia[edit]

"Philadelphia can’t afford to be the poorest city in America. And yet, we are."[1] In Democrat-run Philadelphia, more than 350,000 residents live in a daily financial catastrophe, and 100,000 of them are children.[1]

Kensington[edit]

As explained by a local news affiliate of PBS:

In Kensington, which is known for its open-air drug markets and some of the highest rates of gun violence in Philadelphia, play streets offer an oasis of safety. Just a short walk from Thayer, the neighborhood’s daily routine of deals, altercations, and overdoses churns on.[2]
