Satolao is a small village of 1486 hectares in Sarwar Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Satolao depends on Sarwar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Satolao is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Satolao's pin code is 305403[4], and village code is 02570300. The area of Satolao is segregated as 390.24 hectares irrigated area, 730 hectares unirrigated, the 200 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 166 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Satolao has One post office (Satolav B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Satolao has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Satolao is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1636 and has total administration over 296 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Satolao has 284 children, 149 boys and 135 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 216 (13.20%) males constitute 114 (6.97%) of the population and females 102 (6.23%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 27 (1.65%) males constitute 12 (0.73%) of the population and females 15 (0.92%).

According to a census 2011 report, 986 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 487 male, 499 female with 720 (73.02%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 408 males and 312 females. 249 males and 266 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 6 male and 2 female agricultural labor. 266 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sarwar and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
