Alovett Brandon-Ikechukwu King (born May 30, 1993)[1], professionally known as Close Cash, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer from Burlington County, NJ. Previously known as Alovett, he released his first EP, Smooth Sailings, in 2012. After taking a hiatus, Cash returned with a new name and the release of his second EP, Neck Of The Woods (Part One), in 2017. After relocating to Philadelphia in 2018, Cash released his first album, 4:08, in 2019 under the Buck Society Records imprint.[2] Cash's sound can be described as dark; implementing hip hop, R&B, pop, and trap elements.[3] Influences include Michael Jackson, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Travis Scott, and Justin Timberlake.[4]
