Chaugan is a small village of 1033 hectares in Etmadpur Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chaugan depends on Etmadpur (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chaugan's pin code is 282006[4], and village code is 01567100. The area of Chaugan is segregated as 395 hectares irrigated area, 423 hectares unirrigated, remaining 43 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Chaugan has Nineteen public telephones. Chaugan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Chaugan is a census village in the district of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3647 and has total administration over 522 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Etmadpur (MB) and Agra to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
