Michael Martin Murphey is a country music artist "who gained praise (and hits) with a contemporary spin on cowboy ballads and also by championing Native American causes."[1]

His top songs include "“Wildfire,” “Carolina In The Pines”, “Geronimo’s Cadillac”, “Cowboy Logic,” “Cherokee Fiddle”, “Boy From The Country” and more."[2] One of his albums, The Land of Enchantment, blended elements of New Mexico music into his Country-Western music.
