Christopher Deon Huley (born October 19, 1992), better known by his stage name Hugh Lee, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is best known for his songs "MVP" and "Cabrini." .[1]

Early life[edit]

Christopher Deon Huley was born on October 19, 1992 in Chicago and was raised on the West Side, Chicago|West Side of the city.[2][3] He decided to pursue music while a student at Indiana State University.[4] In 2019, he partnered with special olympics and fighting for autism to give a percentage of all merchandising sales and stream profits to those affected by autism.[1]

Career[edit]

In 2015, he self-released his first mixtape, FRESHHEIR.[5] Later that year, he went on to tour around the country for the official FRESHHEIR Tour.[6]

In July 2017 Huley announced the title of his debut EP, TV's Foster Child. The EP was released on July 7, 2017.[7]

In April 2019, Hugh released his first single from his debut album, "CABRINI."[1]. He performed at SXSW with Future, Migos and Molly Brazy, at the My Mixtapez stage in Austin Texas which ended in a shootout. [8]. Hugh continued to tour from April until October at which point he released the CABRINI album. He has yet to release any music videos from the project except for the single "Sawbuck."[9]. Hugh Lee is currently in the process of recording the CABRINI music video.
