From Conservapedia The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an international organization consisting of mostly high-income countries that are democratic in governance.
The OECD was founded in 1948 as the Organisation for European Economic Co-operation (OEEC) and was renamed to its current name in 1961.
