Deogaon (Gothra) is a small village of 408 hectares in Nawalgarh Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deogaon (Gothra) depends on NAWALGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 108.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deogaon (Gothra) is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Deogaon (Gothra)'s pin code is 333304[4], and village code is 00742800. The area of Deogaon (Gothra) is segregated as 108 hectares irrigated area, 263 hectares unirrigated, the 17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NAWALGARH and Jhunjhunu to sell ghee and make their living.
