National Republican Trust

From Conservapedia

The National Republican Trust Political Action Committee is an independent American political grassroots organization founded to promote conservative values to the United States. It places great emphasis on continuing the conservative values that former U.S. President Ronald Reagan held.[1]

According to the National Republican Trust, Dick Morris, has referred to them as the Republican, but more effective version of the liberal Moveon.org.[2] [3]

It is one of the groups that helped to successfully re-elect Georgian Senator Saxby Chambliss and defeat Jim Martin in the 2008 U.S. Senate Election in Georgia.[4] This prevented the Democrats from gaining a 60-seat majority in the U.S. Senate, which would have allowed the Democrats to block filibusters.
