Sade Grant, known professionally as Dae Jones, is an American rapper who is signed to Island Records.[1] She is best known for her singles "Bad Bitch", "Waves" and "Cash App".
Jones was born on March 22, 1990 in Cabrini Green in Chicago. As her father was jailed and mother left the family when she was nine, Jones was raised by her neighbors.[2] In an interview, she stated that she wrote her first rap after listening to "Through the Wire" by Kanye West.[3]
