Cheonan

The Cheonan was a South Korean naval vessel allegedly sunk by a North Korean torpedo in March in 2010, leading to the death of 46 young Korean sailors. "The ship went down in minutes after a violent explosion split the vessel in half." [1] The tragedy was the top priority in Korean political and social life for several months.
