Umra is a small village of 336.8 hectares in Fatehpur Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Umra depends on kursi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river,One canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Umra's pin code is 225302^[4], and village code is 05693500. The area of Umra is segregated as 167.309 hectares irrigated area, 79.534 hectares unirrigated area. the 5.751 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 96.916 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Umra is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2657 and has total administration over 427 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

• Scheduled caste counts for 1197 (45.05%) males constitute 650 (24.46%) of the population and females 547 (20.59%).

The workforce is 730 male, 164 female with 798 (89.26%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 663 males and 135 females. 195 males and 9 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 241 male and 91 female agricultural labor. 96 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of kursi and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
