Sirhi is a small village of 83 hectares in Sagri Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sirhi depends on Jiyanpur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sirhi's pin code is 276127[4], and village code is 08589600. The area of Sirhi is segregated as , 27 hectares unirrigated area. the 6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Sirhi has One post office (Sirahi B.O). Sirhi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sirhi is a census village in the district of Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2384 and has total administration over 359 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 235 (9.86%) males constitute 111 (4.66%) of the population and females 124 (5.20%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jiyanpur (NP) and Azamgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
