Elvis Presley is Presley's eponymous debut album. It was released on RCA Victor, in mono, catalogue number LPM 1254, in March 1956. The recording sessions took place on January 10 and 11 at RCA recording studios in Nashville, and on January 30 and 31 at the RCA New York studio.
