Metamorphosis

From Conservapedia

Metamorphosis refers to "a major change of form or structure during development".[1] It is common to many species of insects, as well as amphibians, molluscs and crustaceans. It usually involves both great physical differences and drastic changes to the organisms behaviour and lifestyle. Additionally, most organisms that undergo metamorphosis cannot reproduce until their final form. Types of metamorphosis include both complete metamorphosis and incomplete metamorphosis.
