Kharka is a small village of 301.2 hectares in Auraiya Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kharka depends on Auraiya (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,One canal and Two springs. Kharka is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kharka's pin code is 206122[4], and village code is 04167700. The area of Kharka is segregated as 75.6 hectares irrigated area. the 88 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
Kharka has One post office (Kharka B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Kharka has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kharka is a census village in the district of Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1121 and has total administration over 197 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 885 (78.95%) males constitute 489 (43.62%) of the population and females 396 (35.33%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Auraiya (MB) and Auraiya to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
