Kaneti is a small village of 650 hectares in Bassi Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kaneti depends on Dausa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 318.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kaneti is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kaneti's pin code is 303004^[4], and village code is 01624800. The area of Kaneti is segregated as 333 hectares irrigated area, 128 hectares unirrigated, the 133 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 56 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kaneti is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1493 and has total administration over 212 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

• Scheduled caste counts for 111 (7.43%) males constitute 58 (3.88%) of the population and females 53 (3.55%).

The workforce is 352 male, 341 female with 519 (74.89%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 323 males and 196 females. 233 males and 186 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 1 male and 3 female agricultural labor. 174 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dausa and Jaipur to sell carpet making and make their living.
