From Jewish Encyclopedia (1906)

Hoham:

King of Hebron in the time of Joshua. He was one of the five kings who made war on the inhabitants of Gibeon to punish them for making peace with Israel (Josh. x. 3-5). Joshua went to the aid of the Gibeonites, and the five kings, defeated, hid in a cavern. They were put to death by order of Joshua, and hanged on trees till evening (Josh. x. 16-27).
