Daniel Coats, born May 16, 1943 (age 70) was the Senior Republican U.S. Senator from Indiana. He was also Trump's nominee for Director of National Intelligence.
Coats is somewhat of a RINO. He supports unconstitutional gun control measures.[1] He voted in favor of NDAA 2012, a measure which would strip citizens of their constitutional rights. The bill had been signed into law by liberal Obama. He voted to continue funding for Obamacare. On other issues, Coats votes with his party, for example, he's pro-life, supports banning homosexuals from joining the military, and opposes same-sex "marriage"
