Patharkot is a small village of 154.6 hectares in Fatehabad Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Patharkot depends on Fatehabad (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Patharkot's pin code is 283111[4], and village code is 01631800. The area of Patharkot is segregated as 83 hectares irrigated area, 24 hectares unirrigated, remaining 34 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Patharkot has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
