Marlborough, Missouri

From Conservapedia

Marlborough is a village in western St. Louis County, Missouri.

It is best known as the location of the Coral Court Motel, a one-time historic motel located on Route 66 (Watson Road) which operated from 1941-1995 (in fact, the village was established for the purpose of allowing a motel to operate, as the nearest incorporated city did not allow motels to operate within its boundaries) until being demolished due to declining business. However, the Coral Court was notorious for being the site of numerous illicit sexual liaisons due to its architecture: the majority of its units were duplexes or four-plexes, each of which had a one-car garage per unit which could hide the vehicles of occupants. (The motel also, for a time, housed two accused kidnappers/murderers until they were captured and ultimately executed.)
