Third Circuit

From Conservapedia

The United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit is an intermediate federal appellate court based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It hears appeals from federal district courts in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and from the territorial court in the Virgin Islands. Notable former Third Circuit judges include Francis Biddle, who served as the chief American judge at the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal, and Samuel Alito, who was elevated to the U.S. Supreme Court. As the court has jurisdiction over appeals from the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware—and most of the largest U.S. corporations are headquartered in Delaware—it has great influence over federal commercial law.
