Indian-American

From Conservapedia

An Indian-American is an American citizen who originates from, or whose family originates from India. The Indian-American population stands at 1,678,765 according to the 2000 United States census. In 2006, there were over 90,000 Indian students in the United States and the number is growing by 30 per cent.[1] Most of these individuals are not considered Indian-America because they arrive in America for schooling under the H1B Visa program. Indian-Americans have adapted well in the U.S., with many being owners of small businesses. Most Indian-Americans are from big cities in the Midwest and northeast, as well as states such as Florida, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and California.

Indian-Americans and the Democratic Party[edit]

The current U.S. Vice President, Democrat Joe Biden, is on video tape making offensive and disparaging remarks about Indian-Americans.

American-Indians[edit]

Indian-American is not to be confused with American Indians. American Indians are native and indigenous to North America and South America, not Asia.
