Delft

Delft is a smaller town in the province South Holland, situated between the bigger cities Rotterdam and The Hague, in the west of the Netherlands. Delft is located on the canalized Schie River and is noted for the blue-and-white Delft pottery (Delfts Blue), and as the birthplace of the great painter Jan Vermeer. The city has a population of 101.053 (2016).[1]
