Meningoccal B Vaccine

Meningoccal B vaccine is a meningitis vaccine that protects against Neisseria meningitidis type B.^[1] It is available as Bexsero (GlaxoSmithKline) and Trumenba (Pfizer).^[2]

Of countries that have authorised MenB vaccines, not all have included it in a national vaccination policy.^[3] Where available, the number of doses and the recommended schedule varies widely.^[3] Unlike the MenACWY vaccine, MenB vaccination is not included in current immunization strategies for individuals entering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Hajj and Umrah.^[3]
