Baman is a small village of 557 hectares in Etmadpur Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Baman depends on Agra (CB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Baman's pin code is 283122^[4], and village code is 01564900. The area of Baman is segregated as 544 hectares irrigated area, 286 hectares unirrigated, remaining 25 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Baman is a census village in the district of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3368 and has total administration over 521 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Agra (CB) and Agra to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
