Balipur is a small village of 110.5 hectares in Phulpur Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Balipur depends on Sikandra Np, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river,. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Balipur's pin code is 212404[4], and village code is 05436700. The area of Balipur is segregated as 55.06 hectares irrigated area, 26.386 hectares unirrigated area. the 1.623 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 2.14 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Balipur is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1804 and has total administration over 333 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 450 male, 201 female with 181 (27.8%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 162 males and 19 females. 99 males and 7 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 7 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 470 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sikandra Np and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
