Early life and education[edit]
Cohen was born in London, England, and was raised in a Reform Jewish family.[2] He earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Manchester University.[3][4]
Following his university studies, Cohen spent six years travelling throughout Asia beginning in 2000.[5][6] During this period, he studied several languages including Thai, Japanese, Hindi, and Korean. He achieved a black belt in Taekwondo and a brown belt in Aikido, and participated in meditation retreats, volunteered in orphanages and hiked extensively in the Himalayas.[7]
Cohen immigrated to Israel in 2008 and become a Rabbi.[8][9]
Community work[edit]
Cohen founded a non-profit organization All For The Kids, which worked to help underprivileged children.[10] One project of the organization, Be a Kli project encouraged Israeli backpackers to volunteer in orphanages in India. In Israel, Cohen completed the Israel National Trail - a hiking path that runs 1100 km from the North to South of Israel and raised $20,000 for orphanages.[11][12] He founded All for the Kids, an organization supporting orphanages in Israel and Africa.[13]

Cohen serves as an educator at Aish. His work focuses on interfaith dialogue and comparative religious studies, particularly addressing Jewish and Eastern philosophical traditions.[14][15][16][17][18]

In 2023, Cohen co-hosted a documentary about the October 7th Israel-Hamas war with Jamie Geller.[19][20] He has contributed articles to the Washington Examiner, Aish.com, and other publications.[21][22][23][24]

Cohen has authored two books. In 2019, he wrote Mastering Life: A Guidebook to Jewish Enlightenment (Mosaica Press, 2019), and in 2024, he self-published The Essential Teachings: Universal Wisdom for Creating a Great Life.[25][26][27]
