A handful of professional bloggers publishing conservative news since 2001. During the 2006 elections, John Hawkins created and led a group of bloggers called Rightroots, and raised nearly $300,000 for conservative candidates in about 3 months. The 50 Most Popular Conservative Websites[edit]

In March 2009 Right Wing News compiled a list of the 50 most popular conservative websites based on internet traffic data from Alexa [1]. Conservapedia finished in 37th, ahead of many older and more famous conservative sites, reflecting its rapid rise and increasing popularity.
