Anaiah ("The Lord Hath Answered")

Anaiah ("The Lord Hath Answered"):

1. A supporter of Ezra (Neh. viii. 4), who is called Ananias in I Esd. ix. 43. 2. A prominent man who sealed the covenant with Nehemiah (Neh. x. 22). These two may be identical.
