Rosenbach, Hyman Pollock

Rosenbach, Hyman Pollock:

American journalist; born at Philadelphia Sept. 16, 1858; died there March 4, 1892. He was connected with the "Public Ledger" and other papers. In 1883 he published a work entitled "The Jews of Philadelphia Prior to 1800," one of the earliest contributions to American Jewish history (H. S. Morais, "The Jews of Philadelphia," pp. 342-343).
