Later is an upcoming novel by American novelist Stephen King to be published by Hard Case Crime on March 2nd 2021^[1]^[2] as a paperback original, and as a hardcover and e-book at a later (yet to be determined as of September 2020) date^[3] The novel will be the third King novel published by the imprint, following The Colorado Kid (2005) and Joyland (2013).

The plot centers on a young boy with unnatural abilities, Jamie Conklin, and his mother, who are drawn into a murder mystery by an NYPD detective.

The paperback will feature cover art by artist Paul Mann, with two limited edition hardcovers coming at a later date, both with cover art by Gregory Manchess, variant cover for a novel-within-a-novel featured in the story.^[2]
