Cathy (Tract)

From Conservapedia

Cathy is a religious tract written by Jack Chick. It was originally printed in 2013, and remains an in-stock title. It is listed on their website under the subject "Basic Gospel" and also tagged as "Older Children and Adults".

The tract tells of Cathy Smith, who is terminally ill. When visited by her friend Joey, she knows she will soon die but is not afraid as she will then be in Heaven with Jesus. Joey does not know about Jesus; Cathy takes the opportunity to share the Gospel with Joey, who prays to receive Christ.

Later, Joey's mother receives word that Cathy has taken a turn for the worse (she passes away shortly thereafter) but that Cathy has a present for Joey. One week later, Cathy's mother gives Joey the present: Cathy's Bible, with the stipulation (as requested by Cathy) that he share the Gospel with others.
