Social Regulation

From Conservapedia

Social regulation refers to government-imposed restrictions designed to discourage or prohibit harmful corporate behavior (such as polluting the environment or putting workers in dangerous work situations) or to encourage behavior deemed socially desirable.

Regulation that is designed as a Social Control to achieve the utopian goals of Progressivism is properly viewed as social regulation which makes it different from generic regulations that actually benefit the wider society.
