Pathara is a small village of 429 hectares in Meja Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pathara depends on Koraon (Np), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Pathara's pin code is 212303[4], and village code is 05628900. The area of Pathara is segregated as 223 hectares irrigated area, 147 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 24 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Pathara has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Pathara is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1493 and has total administration over 227 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 703 (47.09%) males constitute 362 (24.25%) of the population and females 341 (22.84%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 879 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 448 male, 431 female with 778 (88.51%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 394 males and 384 females. 125 males and 81 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 236 male and 287 female agricultural labor. 101 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Koraon (Np) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
