Marianas

From Britannica 11th Edition (1911)

Marianas, or Maranhas, a tribe of South American Indians on the river Jutahy, north-western Brazil. They wear small pieces of wood in their ears and lips, but are not tattooed.

Marianas are also found on the upper reaches of the Putumayo across to the Yapura.
