Nonhar is a small village of 126 hectares in Jalalpur Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nonhar depends on Jalalpur (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,Two canals and Two springs. Nonhar is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nonhar's pin code is 224149[4], and village code is 06109300. The area of Nonhar is segregated as 78 hectares irrigated area, 9 hectares unirrigated area. the 22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 17 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nonhar is a census village in the district of Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1604 and has total administration over 237 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 323 male, 165 female with 138 (28.28%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 98 males and 40 females. 45 males and 30 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 19 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 350 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalalpur (MB) and Ambedkar Nagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
