Wars Of The Diadochi

From Conservapedia

The Wars of the Diadochi otherwise known as the Wars of the successors could be said to encompass the period of time from the death of Alexander the Great to the establishment of the Selucid and Ptolomian kings.

In the Bible[edit]

This period of time is significantly recognized by many Biblical scholars as finding fulfilment in the prophecies of Daniel 7, 8 and 11. Meanwhile skeptics allege that these prophecies were written after the events they describe producing many heated debates. The most conservative positions claim that the prophecies of Daniel were at least included in the Septuagint commissioned during these wars[1] by Ptolemy I.
