Bhadwan is a small village of 377 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhadwan depends on Handia (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply which is 50.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Bhadwan's pin code is 221508[4], and village code is 05597900. The area of Bhadwan is segregated as 330 hectares irrigated area, 23 hectares unirrigated area. the 11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Bhadwan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Bhadwan is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2498 and has total administration over 414 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 874 (34.99%) males constitute 453 (18.13%) of the population and females 421 (16.85%).

Employment[edit]

The workforce is 649 male, 411 female with 802 (75.66%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 506 males and 296 females. 186 males and 51 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 72 male and 27 female agricultural labor. 258 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Handia (NP) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
