Vietnam Veterans Memorial

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial honors men and women who served in the US Armed Forces during the Vietnam conflict. The memorial is located on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., and consists of the Three Soldiers Statue, the Women's Memorial, and the Memorial Wall. The best known of these is the Memorial Wall, which lists the names of American service men and women who died in the war. The Wall was designed by American architect Maya Lin, and was completed in 1982.
